For the second consecutive year, the Junior NFR presented by YETI will be held in Las Vegas. There will be qualifiers and finals in eight events (with various age groups per event): Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, 19 & Under Girls Breakaway, 14 & Under Girls Breakaway, 10 & Under Boys and Girls Breakaway, 15 & Under Team Roping, 19 & Under Team Roping, 19 & Under Tie Down, 13 & Under Tie-Down, 11 & Under Barrel Racing and 16 & Under Barrel Racing.

Ote Berry's Jr. STEER WRESTLING World Champions

Pro Rodeo Hall of Famer, Ote Berry, hosts the top youth Steer Wrestlers again this year at the Junior NFR in Las Vegas! Join the best up and coming steer wrestlers as they compete for this coveted title.

Qualification events to leading to the Junior NFR held across the country during 2018.
Senior Division: 18 years or younger on January 1, 2018
Junior Division: 16 years or younger on January 1, 2018 - includes incentive awards.

Join the challenge and compete to ride bucking bulls at the Junior NFR. Mr. and Mrs. Leal will return to Las Vegas with their famous Leal's miniature bucking bulls again in 2018. These bulls work in competitions around the country during the year, finding the most talented riders to compete at the Junior NFR in Las Vegas in December 2018.

California Dressage Society - SLO Chapter

The SLO-CDS is the Central Coast of California Subsidiary of the California Dressage Society. We were formed in 1970 and are an all volunteer non-profit organization on the Central Coast. We have over 100 members from all areas of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. Riders' expertise range from Junior and Adult Amateur beginning riders at Intro Level to some of the finest Open Grand Prix riders in the country. We typically put on 3-4 CDS rated shows throughout the year including the Central Regional Adult Amateur Competition held in August at the Paso Robles Horse Park.

General Meeting and Presentation of 2017 CDS Awards

Just a reminder that we have our next SLO-CDS General Meeting on Tuesday, Feb 20 at AJ Spurs in Templeton. Please come hungry! We have a room reserved and we won't be charged if we order food. Please come at 6pm to eat and the meeting will start about 6:45. AJ Spurs is at 508 S. Main Street in Templeton.

The Grit & Grace Foundation ("Grit & Grace") is a qualified 501(C)3 non-profit California corporation on a mission to bring awareness and generate greater participation in bone marrow, blood banks and organ registries across the United States; while funding programs to help patients fighting blood cancers. Grit & Grace uses equine events as fundraisers to help spread awareness regarding bone marrow registries and blood bank donations. Grit & Grace larger events will combine horse events in conjunction with bone marrow drives. Grit & Grace is qualified source partner of BloodSource and through such is qualified to collect and swab individuals to become new registrants of Be The Match.
