Come out and join us in kicking off the 2023 Gilroy Rodeo at the GR Kick-off Barrel Race!!

July 28 - Warm up Race!
4:00-6:30 - time onlies
6:50 - futurity showcase
7:00 - Youth; Open to follow

8:00-10:00 - time onlies (cash at gate)
10:30 - $1000 added Youth Race (top 4 from Youth will qualify to Gilroy Rodeo Youth Shootout); Open race to follow, Poles to follow Open

Buckles to first in each D in the Open and Youth + awards to 3rd in each D in the open and 2nd in each D in the Youth race!

Top four fastest times from the Kickoff Youth Race will qualify to the Youth Shoot-Out during the Gilroy Rodeo performances for the chance of running in a true rodeo performance setting, MORE added money, and a Gilroy Rodeo Youth Shoot-Out Champion buckle. No Open entries will be taken back to the performances this year - we want to help showcase the future of our sport!

Pre-entries/first draw will close Thursday, July 27 at 8 p.m. Entries will be taken day of race until first big drag in the Open.
